FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON IN OUR PARISH

WELCOME TO OUR PASTORAL CENTRE

St.  Pappin’s Pastoral Centre opened in May 2019 and continues to develop as a wonderful resource for the Parish.  The Centre has hosted Retreat and Reflection days for both adult and school groups.  Parish groups meet there regularly, and parents are welcomed for meetings in preparation for their children’s Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation.  Lillian and Rose provide warm hospitality every Wednesday morning after the 9.15 Mass in St. Joseph’s where everyone is welcomed for tea/coffee and a chat.  Anyone wishing to speak to someone from the Parish Team can be assured of a warm welcome and a quiet space in the Centre.  We are currently preparing to offer a counselling service and have some experienced counsellors helping us to put the proper structures in place.  St. Pappin’s Parish Pastoral Council is exploring initiatives for further faith development and is always keen to provide opportunities to nourish & encourage both young and old.  The Flourishing in Grace Programme for Lent was cut short due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and will resume as soon as we are able to have gatherings of large numbers.  St. Joseph’s Parish Office is based in the Centre.  Karen is there Monday 1pm-5pm, Tuesday 9am-1pm, Friday 9am-5pm (closed 1pm-2pm) (01 8423865) and can answer any queries in relation to the Parish & Pastoral Centre.
