Godly Play is a gentle way to invite children to listen to God's word and explore its meaning for their lives. It involves setting up a safe and sacred space in which to proclaim Holy Scripture in a way which facilitates children's hearing, understanding and response. It prepares children to join in the worship and life of their congregations as they develop a deeper understanding of Scripture stories, symbols and rites.
